Plan Your Visit
Everything you need to know for your Tyne cruise experience
Where to Board
Boarding takes place at the City Marina on the Quayside, just below the Tyne Bridge. You will see our booth at the top of the ramp down to the Canny Lass — a crew member will check you in and take you down to the boat.

Parking Locations
The nearest parking is the NCP Newcastle Riverside, which is 200m upstream from the boarding location. There is also the Close Swing Bridge car park, 20m further up from the Riverside car park.
Arrival Times
You should arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Please don't be late — the Canny Lass will sail on time and late arrivals won't be refunded.
What to Bring
We recommend comfortable clothing and suitable footwear. As it can be cooler on the water, even in summer, we suggest bringing a warm layer or jacket.
Wheelchair Access
Yes — we can accommodate one wheelchair user per trip due to space. We have ramps for access, and a wheelchair booking must be made in advance at the booking stage.
